Limited Warranty

This Limited Warranty applies to products purchased directly from Maple Ace Inc. ("Maple Ace", "we", "us", "our") through this website. It sets out our obligations to you regarding defects in materials and workmanship and is provided in addition to your rights under applicable consumer protection laws, which it does not limit, exclude, or replace.

What's Covered

Maple Ace warrants that, under normal use and conditions, the bearings, mounted units, chains, and related components we manufacture or supply will be free from material defects in materials and workmanship at the time of delivery and for the duration of the warranty period stated below.

This warranty extends only to the original purchaser of the product and is not transferable.

Warranty Period

Unless a different period is specified on the product page or in accompanying documentation, the warranty period is [12] months from the date of delivery.

The warranty period begins on the date your order is delivered to the shipping address provided at checkout, as recorded by the carrier.

What's Not Covered

This warranty does not cover damage or failure caused by:

• Improper installation, including the use of incorrect tools, excessive force, or failure to follow manufacturer fitting instructions.
• Normal wear and tear, including loss of lubrication over time, surface scoring from extended service, or end-of-life fatigue.
• Operation outside the load, speed, temperature, or environmental ratings published for the part.
• Contamination, corrosion, or exposure to chemicals incompatible with the product.
• Modifications, alterations, or repairs performed by anyone other than Maple Ace or an authorized representative.
• Misuse, abuse, accident, or negligence; damage from impact, dropping, or improper storage.
• Items sold as "as-is", "clearance", or final-sale items, and items damaged in return shipping due to improper packaging.

This warranty also does not cover any consequential or incidental damage, including damage to other equipment, downtime, or lost profits, arising from a defect in the warranted product.

How to Make a Claim

If you believe a product is defective, please contact us at marketplace@mapleace.com within the warranty period and provide:

1. Your order number and the date of purchase.
2. A clear description of the defect, including the conditions under which it occurred.
3. Photographs of the affected part and, where applicable, the application or installation context.
4. The remaining quantity of the part if it was purchased as part of a kit.

We will review your claim and respond within five (5) business days. If the claim is approved, we will provide return-shipping instructions and, at our option, repair the product, replace it with an equivalent item, or refund the purchase price. Items returned to us without a Return Authorization may not be accepted.

Remedies and Limitations

Our liability under this Limited Warranty is limited to repair, replacement, or refund of the affected product, at Maple Ace's discretion. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Maple Ace will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, including loss of profits, equipment downtime, or damage to other property arising from use of, or inability to use, the warranted product.

Nothing in this warranty excludes or limits any non-waivable rights granted to you under applicable consumer-protection legislation, including the Consumer Protection Act (Quebec) and any other mandatory consumer-protection laws applicable in your province or country of residence.

Governing Law and Contact

This Limited Warranty is governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. The courts of the District of Montreal will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising under this warranty, except where applicable law grants you the right to bring proceedings elsewhere.
